After Galván-Magana and his colleague Marcel Bejarano Alvarez heard the discovery, which appeared on the photo page in the network Facebook, the team received permission to take Leon shark for research. Scientists have confirmed that Akulenok suffered cyclopia - a disease occurring in other species.
